|
As July comes to a close and August begins, we start to see some of the largest summer mayflies that we've all been anticipating. Green Drakes, Red Quills and Pale Morning Duns. Also caddis flies and prolific midges. The flows are more moderate now, but can fluctuate as demands for water downstream are changing. "Dry flies all day man!" NYMPH FISHERMEN STAY HOME!!! I wish there were a hundred and thirty-one days in August instead of just thirty-one. the dry fly fishing at Long Meadow is at its finest. Boxwood is unbelievable. |
